Carrie Preston is an actor, director, and producer, most noted for her role as Arlene in HBO’s acclaimed series True Blood and Elsbeth on CBS’ The Good Wife (for which she won an Emmy in 2013). She has been featured in films like Duplicity, Woody Allen’s Vicky Christina Barcelona, and Transamerica. Born in Macon, GA, she was first noticed opposite patrick Stewart in Broadway’s “The Tempest,” and made her film debut opposite Julia Roberts in My Best Friend’s Wedding. Her most recent film as director
and producer, That’s What She Said, starred Anne Heche, and premiered at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival.
